24/7 CARE
Care About You adheres to a Policy on Governance and incorporates 24/7 Care. This framework adopted by Care About You means that we offer accountability for the quality of the service and standard of care we provide to our service users – all day, every day.
We are continuously looking for ways to improve the quality of the service delivered.
Examples of how we strive to improve the quality of the service being provided continuously are quarterly and annual reviews with our service users or more frequently if required.
We also carry out spot checks on the care being provided to our service users by our staff to ensure they adhere to policies and procedures and follow their client’s support plans.
How qualified are our 24/7 care staff?
The Home Care Manager in each region ensures that all our staff are selected through a structured hiring process, ensuring they are suitably qualified, garda vetted and suitable for delivering the required care to each service user. All care staff receive appropriate training, including a comprehensive induction programme, patient moving and manual handling, and personal care training before commencing employment with “Care About You”. Our company nurse also provides necessary training to care staff, often within the service user’s homes.
