“Care About You” is a 100% Irish-owned home care company, founded in 2012 and based in Shannon, Co Clare. The company has multiplied with the opening of the Midlands office in Athlone in 2013 and the Galway and Cork offices in 2018. We are an approved HSE Elderly Care & Disability Care provider and provide to individuals personally.
Person-Centred Care is a way of thinking and doing things that sees the people using health and social services as equal partners in planning, developing and monitoring care to make sure it meets their needs. The underlying (holistic) philosophy is about supporting people to help them meet their aspirations and needs.

Home Care
At Care About You, we offer home care services tailored to individuals of various age groups, all in their homes. Whether you or your loved one are recovering from an illness or facing challenges in daily tasks, we are here to provide the necessary support to maintain independence and enjoy the familiarity of home. Our person-centred approach ensures that your needs take precedence, whether you require ongoing assistance or temporary help. We are equipped to assist with household chores and activities of daily living, ensuring your well-being and comfort are our top priorities.
Disability Care
Care About You has vast experience delivering excellent disability care to individuals of all ages with disabilities. We conduct thorough assessments to gain insight into their abilities, challenges, medical conditions, preferences, and goals. This information and risk assessments form the basis of our individualised support plans. Our approach to risk assessments is not about restricting opportunities but instead finding safe ways for individuals to pursue their desires. We involve the individual and their family members, as needed, in the collaborative process of conducting these assessments.

Community Integration:
At “Care About You” we are aware that unfortunately many people with disabilities or those who experience social isolation for a variety of reasons can suffer from much reduced involvement with their local communities. We can support you to have fuller participation in your local community. We can also support you to have a valued social role and to access services and recreational facilities.
Personal Care and Support:
At “Care About You” we are experienced at assisting individuals with all aspects of personal care including assisting with bathing/showering/bed bath, toileting, incontinence wear, catheter/convene assistance, feeding, dressing. There is a direct link between maintaining strong personal care and quality of life.
Independent Living:
At “Care About You” we have extensive experience in assisting people with physical, mobility or intellectual disabilities/mental health difficulties to lead an independent and meaningful life. We also have experience in supporting young people who are leaving residential or foster care placements to adapt to independent living.

Our Accreditations/Awards:
Our team at Care About You, pride ourselves in seeking to provide the highest quality home care possible. As a HSE Approved Provider of Elderly Care in both the 2016 and 2018 Tender Process our policies and procedures met the requirements as set out in their detailed Service Standards. As a member of the HCCI we continue to promote best in class practice for the Irish Home Care sector.
We are subject to audit by HCCI initially before we are allowed to join and then every 2 years as an ongoing member. As part of our continuous improvement philosophy we plan to seek ISO 9001:2015 Accreditation in 2022.
